"Aya Baheera is an incredibly talented and incredibly professional dancer. Her performance skills, which highlight meticulous practice and an internal improvisational spirit, are unmatched, especially in the Panhandle region. She's very easy to work with, with clear and prompt communication, and a kindness that I have found lacking in other professional dialogues. Her performance at our Noise Feast III event, with an incredible band put together on short notice, was all the things desired of dance: emotional, provocative yet familiar, crisp and flowing, and totally beautiful. I have also seen Aya perform with a group of random strangers playing improvised music, and rather than being nervous or locked into her own style, she moved with ease and finesse, not only feeling the music but adding to it!

 

Overall, Aya is a gem in the dance and performance community, and I cannot recommend working with her enough!"
